William Chu has been running the Azure and Vanda Asean Group until it was acquired by Avnet Inc., a Fortune 500 Company, in Apr 16, 2007. Since then, he has been promoted as the Vice President, General Manager of Asean, responsible to expand Avnet’s business in Asean.

William obtained the degree of Electric Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1991 and MBA (Accountancy) from the Nanyang Technological University in 2002. He has 16 years of wide-ranging experience in the IT industry, with focus in corporate sales and project management.

William has strong working knowledge in the high-tech marketplace. Prior to joining the Group, he worked as the Regional Project Manager in IBM Singapore Pte Ltd for 4 years. He joined the Group in December 1996. The fantastic turn-around of Azure Singapore is to the great credit of his leadership.
